Our client is a market leader in the provision of Asset Finance and IT solutions. This exciting opportunity will offer the successful candidate the chance to develop and grow within a fast moving and high profile business.
Due to internal growth and expansion our client is looking to recruit a Vendor Support Manager to provide support to a small number of field based account managers. The successful candidate will take ownership for the quotations and the processing of transactions to the value of £25,000. The purpose of the role will be to enable the external account managers to become more effective and to increased their productivity within their role.
You will be working very closely with the external team, providing them with critical support and to allow them to maximise their time in the field whilst also offering the customers invaluable internal support.
The key tasks that will be involved in the role will include but not be limited to the following;
• Providing quotations and assistance to vendors.
• Transacting flow business in conjunction with the external account managers.
• Ownership of the assigned portfolio of vendors and resellers, including the provision of reports, quoting upgrades, maximising renewal business and the general day to day management of key relationships.
The chosen candidate will possess the following key competencies;
• Proven experience within the asset finance sector.
• Currently working within a sales or new business environment within asset finance.
• Be extremely service focused.
• An understanding of the IT sector.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of credit and company accounts.
