Insurance Manager

Our client is a Global leasing business that is looking to grow their European strategy around their insurance product offerings. The Insurance Manager will have responsibility to support the implementation and the execution of the insurance strategy and policies covering the function. You will ensure that insurance activities and processes are developed and managed effectively and efficiently. You will be the local key contact person to the external insurance partners, lead all local insurance activities and best practice, and drive the local team.
Your key responsibilities will be to execute the strategy internally and externally, manage its effectiveness, control the budgets, work with the insurance companies to develop further products, develop marketing campaigns whilst understanding what the competition is doing and analysing their pricing structures.
You must have an excellent knowledge of the insurance market with either a speciality in the general asset finance market or from within the commercial vehicle sector. You could be working for either a commercial vehicle leasing company, general asset finance or vendor finance company or an insurance broker currently supporting a leasing company’s insurance strategy. You must also be self motivated willing to take responsibility, results orientated with strong insurance selling skills. A good communicator who has good analytical skills and is used to thinking holistically is also a pre-requisite.
