An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a senior manager in the vehicle remarketing division of one of the Uk’s leading financial institutions and a major provider of vehicle fleet funding.
Key Accountabilities
1. Develop and manage implementation of overall strategy via Senior Managers to maximise vehicle sales, profitability and stock turnover.
2. Develop and manage implementation of the marketing strategy to facilitate delivery of the required business volumes and maximise market potential for each Vehicle Remarketing sales channel.
3. Take steps to measure and ensure each sales unit is compliant with relevant legislation and audit requirements.
4. Lead, direct and motivate other others in implementing the strategy, development of sales and operations plans for medium and long term development of markets and maximising the potential of their teams.
5. Develop high level relationships with motor manufacturer and dealers and maximise market potential and ensure continued commitment for direct supply of new and used vehicles.
6. Management of budgets, marketing and premises.
7. Maintain an effective internal controls framework.
You must have a detailed knowledge and experience of both retail and fleet motor industry covering both new and used car values, several years experience in management from within the remarketing sector, and used to working with and managing relationships with auction houses. A understanding of different go to market strategies and experience of managing marketing campaigns is also required.
