We have a responsibility to grow our business, to maximise
opportunities for innovation and development that benefit all our
employees. That responsibility extends to our clients and the wider
community in which we operate.
A key factor in the success of CBC Recruitment Solutions Team is
that we recognise, and respond to, the well-being of our people
including the need for a healthy work/life balance.
A breadth of talent, experience and opinion within any
organisation enables it to be more creative and to challenge
established thinking, delivering more innovatively and achieving
competitive advantage.
We respect diversity in gender, ethnicity, age, sexual
orientation, religion, political persuasion, education, experience
and socio-economic status.
Our aim is to treat employees fairly, assessed objectively and
empowered to succeed.
We also believe that, through our people, we can exert a
positive force for good in the wider community.
We aim to limit our effect on the planet to the greatest
possible extent whilst still attempting to develop a vibrant
commercial business.
We evaluate our use of resources carefully and endeavour to be as
economical as possible in our use of collateral. For example we
don't produce a brochure since we know these rarely get read and
are therefore just a waste. Wherever possible we email proposals
and cv's and always endeavour to read inbound information on our
screens rather than printing.
In terms of travel we use public transport wherever possible and
when we do drive or fly we consider how to get the very best use
from the time so as to limit the need for frequent journeys.

We have nominated The Sea Shell Trust (www.seashelltrust.org.uk),
a worthy and local charity, as our '2012 Charity of the Year'.
We're also delighted to support our clients' many and varied
efforts to raise money for causes that are close to their heart and
encourage them to include us on the ubiquitous charity fundraising
email lists.
