ALM Analyst – Treasury

Manchester (Hybrid Working)

They are currently seeking a talented and ambitious ALM Analyst – Treasury to join their dynamic team.

Position Summary:

The ALM Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring robust governance and meeting MI requirements. Reporting directly to the Treasurer, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with the broader finance team. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, providing flexibility while contributing to the bank’s continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

– Prepare committee packs for presentations, offering valuable insights for strategic decision-making.

– Deliver comprehensive reports on the bank’s interest rate exposure and analyse the behavioural duration of the loan book.

– Evaluate the performance of the swap portfolio and hedging strategy.

– Conduct thorough cash flow forecasting to support liquidity management.

– Provide detailed analysis of the savings market to identify opportunities and risks.

Qualifications and Skills:

– Previous experience in Treasury, ALM, or a related role within a bank or similar financial services firm.

– Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word for data analysis and reporting.

– Ambitious and eager to contribute to a dynamic and agile organization.

– Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.

– Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
