Our client is a long established and well respected provider of asset finance to the UK SME marketplace.

They are looking for an area development manager to cover Scotland in order to develop new business opportunities with large corporate customers for a broad range of hard assets.

You will be responsible for Proactively identifying, negotiating and closing new business opportunities with customers via face-to-face meetings, telephone and email, in addition to structuring new business applications in line with company credit policy.

Ongoing relationship management of your customer base is also key to success in the role.

We are looking for candidates who have some experience of sales and relationship management from within the asset finance/leasing sector, specifically with exposure to bigger ticket customers/deals.
