Head of Sales – Asset Finance
South East England

Our client is a well-established asset finance company with ambitious plans to further expand their UK presence. As part of its ongoing growth plans it is keen to appoint a high-profile asset finance sales leader to devise and deliver the sales strategy for further growth.
The responsibilities:
- Leading a team of sector sales leaders and their sales teams to establish objectives for margin and volume growth in the broker, vendor / supplier and wholesale finance sectors for hard and soft assets.
- Formulating a sales structure and sales strategy to increase market share whilst remaining within credit quality guidelines.
- Leading the recruitment, training and ongoing development of the sales team including sales skills, credit / risk awareness and compliance.
- Maintaining a high profile with introducers, vendors, suppliers and direct customers and identifying opportunities to further embed the company, galvanise relationships and improve deal flow.
- Work closely with marketing and communications to effectively communicate the vision, values and strategy of the company internally and externally.
- Close collaboration with the rest of Exco including finance, risk, credit, HR and operations.
The candidate:
- Must be an experienced asset finance sales leader and proven in the direct and / or indirect / broker / vendor / supplier channel.
- Able to manage a large sales team through a team of high performing sales managers.
- Able to represent the company at the highest level across the asset finance and leasing community.
- Strong team player and able to build relationships across the company at all levels.
- Able to work in the office for three days a week (on average).
