Our client is the motor finance division of a long established UK consumer bank.

Due to an internal promotion, they are looking to recruit a Sales Team Leader to manage and develop a team of 8 people who are internal sales executives and sales administrators.

This position will be responsible for the co-ordination of the Sales/Sales Support teams’ daily workload, ensuring the timely processing of all quotations and dealer requests received into the New Business area. To provide leadership and direction for your team, maintaining service levels and ensure all business objectives are adhered to, whilst ensuring risks are not compromised and “Best in Class” service is delivered to customers and dealers.

You will be responsible for coaching and training team members, onboarding new recruits and conducting 1-2-1’s and appraisals.   Additionally you will support the team to achieve their sales targets and softer KPI’s.

We are looking for candidates who have proven experience of leading a team, and who can demonstrate experience in a sales/relationship management environment.  You will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication and organisational skills.

The role is hybrid with 3 days in the office, and 2 based from home
