Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing motor finance lender, proud to be part of a leading UK consumer bank. They are on the lookout for a talented and ambitious Motor Finance Account Manager to oversee a region encompassing Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, Devon, and Cornwall.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Motor Finance Account Manager, your primary focus will be on managing and nurturing relationships with existing independent car dealerships while also driving new business development within your region.

Responsibilities will include:
Building strong, long-term relationships with existing dealership partners, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring their needs are met.
Identifying and targeting potential new dealership partners within your assigned territory, working closely with them to establish profitable relationships.
Staying informed about the automotive industry and motor finance trends to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Collaborating with our underwriting team to assess credit applications and structure finance deals that meet both company business goals and the needs of all dealer partners.
Ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with relevant industry regulations and internal policies.

We are seeking candidates ideally with a proven track record in motor finance sales and relationship management.  However, we will also consider applicants with experience in related sectors to include the broader financial services or automotive industries.  You will have exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, Strong written and verbal communication skills, a drive to achieve and exceed targets and KPIs and an understanding of relevant regulations and a commitment to compliance.
